Automatic Doors U.S.A. manufactures the
Power Swing ™, a swinging door operator that fits virtually any
swinging door. The Power Swing operator can be mounted either on the
door frame or on the door itself, making it extremely versatile. In
addition, the Power Swing has no switches or microprocessors. Its simple
design makes it extremely reliable. The Power Swing is revolutionary in
its design. Unlike conventional swinging doors, the Power Swing
automatically disengages the gear and motor during manual operation.
This makes manual door operation easier and reduces stress on the gear
mechanism. The Power Swing accommodates virtually any type of
activating device including push button, safety and activated scanners.
A standard safety module is included. The operator hand is field
changeable to accommodate right or left hand applications. |

The Power Swing's design is extremely simple and reliable, it has no microprocessor or switches. The Power Swing uses timers and memory for functions such as open and close speeds, hold times, etc., all of which are easily adjusted. Despite it simple design, Power Swing incorporates high end features. Any resistance to the door is automatically sensed and the motor function is halted. This feature is built-in. It helps to prevent accidents and reduce stress placed on the gear motor when the door is locked and the sensor is left on. This increases the motor's life time and it lowers operating costs. Power Swing can also be outfitted with third party safety sensors.

The Power Swing's heavy duty motor can operate at 24V (for low energy and handicapped use) or at 110V for commercial application.

3. |
Unlike conventional swinging doors, the Power Swing's patent pending design uses a standard LCN4041 swinging door close. When the door is opened manually, the motor and drive chain are automatically disengaged. This makes the door easier to open and reduces stress on the gear motor and arm.

Smart sensor technology
prevents accidents. When resistance is encountered, the motor is
automatically disengaged. This feature prevents stress caused by having
the door locked while the sensor power is left turned on. In addition to this
built-in feature, Power Swing accommodates standard safety scanners for
added protection. |

At Automatic Doors U.S.A. we differentiate ourselves from conventional swinging door manufacturers. One of them is in our innovative approach to the opening and closing of doors during power failures. While conventional doors will open and stay open during power failures, Power Swing provides an innovative, on-demand optional battery backup unit. The battery backup is small enough to fit inside the header yet powerful enough so that it can operate the scanner, the locks and still open the door up to 70 times during power failures. This provides greater security during power failures and allows for an easy, comfortable, automatic entry or exit. |
